On the occasion of National Press and Journalism Day, Expressbank OJSC organized a media tour to the city of Khankendi for representatives of the country's leading media outlets.
Against the backdrop of 2026 being declared the "Year of Urban Planning and Architecture" in Azerbaijan, the purpose of the trip was to present to media representatives on-site the restoration and reconstruction efforts underway in the liberated territories, investment projects implemented through public-private partnerships, and the financial support provided by Expressbank to this process.
As part of the media tour, participants visited the GP Safety LLC Work Gloves Production Facility, which was financed through a concessional business loan by Expressbank with the support of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund of Azerbaijan.
During the visit, media representatives were briefed on the facility's production process, applied technologies, manufacturing capacity, and future growth prospects. It was emphasized that such projects not only serve to create new jobs, expand local manufacturing, and boost economic activity in the region, but also make a vital contribution to the socio-economic revival of the liberated territories.
Following the facility tour, Bank representatives and journalists gathered for lunch. As part of the itinerary, participants also spent free time visiting Victory Park (Zəfər Parkı) located in Khankendi. The visit to Victory Park provided media representatives with the opportunity to observe firsthand one of the key symbols of the nation's historic victory alongside the large-scale reconstruction efforts taking place in the region.
