Expressbank has once again organized a voluntary blood donation drive.
Held at the Bank's Head Office on the occasion of May 8 – International Thalassemia Day, the main purpose of the initiative was to support individuals suffering from thalassemia and other blood disorders.
During the drive, organized in partnership with the National Blood Bank, employees wishing to donate first underwent medical check-ups, and blood was collected from individuals whose health indicators met the doctors' approval.
Alongside the executive management and Head Office staff, employees from capital branches also joined the initiative.
It is worth noting that blood donation drives have long been an essential component of Expressbank's corporate social responsibility initiatives. The Bank plans to continue implementing socially beneficial projects in the future.
